In 2008 we packed up the panniers and cycled off through SW England, an amazing trip of over 1000kms in 10 days
In 2009 we cycled from Geneva to Cherbourg. A 1000km ride through the Jura Mountains, the Loire Valley, Brittany and Normandy.
In 2010 we cycled to Chambois in the Loire Valley. A shorter trip of 500kms completed in 4 days.
In 2011 the challenge is to ride through the Yorkshire Dales in some of the most exhilarating UK countryside
This year Cycle Tours UK is staying in the UK to explore the Yorkshire Dales in N England. The moors and quiet peacefulness of the region make fantastic cycling. The tour will start in Kirkby Lonsdale and then follow some of the National Cycle Network routes through the moors. The final day is a ride through the Lake District and Lake Windermere.
All in all some 300kms will be covered but more importantly elevations of over 500m will be climbed with some 5000m climbed during the 3 days. A tough challenge.
