Cycle Tours UK has developed a number of guided tours through the scenic countryside of Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Dorset, Wiltshire and Devon. Our tours are mapped around a network of luxurious country house hotels all situated on quiet country lanes, easily accessible by bicycle.
We cater for all your needs supplying bicycles, gel saddles, helmets, rain jackets, day bags, water bottles and t-shirts. We book your accommodation and can transfer you from Winchester train station or from Heathrow or Gatwick airports if you are flying in from overseas.
The Weekend Break - The Weekend Break is a great way to unwind, explore the local Hampshire countryside and enjoy some great food and lodgings at The Greyhound Inn in Stockbridge. The weekend breaks can be scheduled to suit your schedule.
Fishing & Cycling Breaks - Cycle Tours UK together with Fishing Breaks, have created the ultimate pastoral experience combining cycling with fly fishing. You will once again have the opportunity of experiencing the comfort and delicious food at The Greyhound Inn and will be guided through the Hampshire countryside by Cycle Tours UK, before settling for a few hours fly fishing under the tutelage of Fishing Breaks.
The Hampshire Break - The 3 night mid-week break, staying at Lainston House, includes 3 days of cycling where you have a choice of local attractions to explore. The ancient cathedral city of Winchester, Jane Austens house in Chawton, Mottisfont Abbey Gardens, the New Forest and the Isle of Wight are just a few of the great cycling venues.
The Dorset Break - Enjoy a 3 night break cycling through Dorset and Somerset. The Blackmore Vale offers a variety of attractions including the market town of Dorchester, Thomas Hardy's cottage, the stunning Jurassic Coast and the beautiful Stourhead Gardens. You will be staying at the luxurious Plumbers Manor Hotel in the heart of Dorset.
The Devon Break - The 4 night break includes a first night at Lainston House and a 3 hour drive the following day to your hotel on the N Devonshire Coast. The dramatic wilderness of the moorland and the rugged Devonshire coastline offer the most invigorating few days of cycling you will ever experience. You will be staying at the charming country hotel The Old Rectory.
The SW Tour - If you prefer to cycle between venues then Cycle Tours UK can design a bespoke tour to suit your needs. The tour will include a fully supported daily cycle to a new venue each day, looping through Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. Tours will be designed to your fitness and cycling abilities and will be dependent upon accommodation availability.
