At Cycle Tours UK our aim is to make your bicycle touring holiday as enjoyable as possible and that includes the "apres-cycling". We know that after an active day outdoors, you deserve to be pampered and looked after in comfort and style. We have chosen quiet, country house hotels and bed and breakfast accommodation that will allow you to relax and rest in elegantly appointed rooms, with comfortable beds and stylish ensuites.
Many of the hotel venues provide excellent dining, often featuring locally sourced produce. Where dining is not available in-house, we have recommendations for pubs and restaurants nearby that will be only a short walk away.
Winchester & Hampshire
All tours begin and end in the luxurious surrounds of Lainston House, a charming 17th century country house, set in 63 acres of Hampshire countryside, on the outskirts of the historic cathedral city of Winchester. Lainston House is the perfect setting to unwind and give yourself some breathing space. Lainston House is situated on quiet country lanes so that you can easily explore the beauty of the Itchen and Test Valleys, Jane Austen country or if you want to go further afield, the Isle of Wight.
Dorset & Somerset
In the heart of Thomas Hardy Country, Plumbers Manor is owned and managed by the same truly Dorset family who built the house in the early 17th century. This lovely country house hotel offers the kind of hospitality that makes you feel more like a family friend than a guest. After dinner the dessert trolley is heaven on wheels and after a days cycling, you will have earned the right to try each one!.
North Devon
Charming and cosy, the Bark House Hotel welcomes you warmly to the wide open spaces of Exmoor. Meals at the hotel are a real treat, all home made, using locally sourced meat, fish and vegetables.
